We have some great homesites available right now at Ashford Preserve, where you can meet with our Project Manager to help you understand the dimensions of the lot and where you want to have your house located on the lot. You can discuss any grading, usable backyard space, potential for walk-out or daylight basements, and any other points of interest.

There’s a lot that is done before construction begins. This is the time to really nail down your wants and needs, down to choosing the finishing touches in colors, materials, and more. Our expert Design Center staff can help you make your vision a reality, and they can also provide helpful guidance if all of the choices start to overwhelm you.

The next step before construction begins is to sit down with a Design Coordinator for a private meeting to go over all of your selections and custom options. This is where you can make additional structural changes, such as floor plan realignments to make the most of your chosen homesite, or expansions for extra rooms. We work closely with you to make sure your new home fits your lifestyle and your budget.

All of this careful work in advance is much like the adage to measure twice, cut once. By going over all of the details in advance, it means that once construction begins, it should move smoothly. This is one of the most exciting parts as you get to see your home start to take shape from the foundation to the framing to the interior and exterior finishes, and even the landscaping.
